The ideal candidate has strong Databricks and Power BI experience, plus familiarity with Azure Data Lake and Data Factory. This contract role runs for 6 months with potential extension and requires excellent analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Databricks experience with SQL analytics required.
• Strong Power BI and Power Query skills.
• Familiarity with Azure data services and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting and analytics needs.
• Explore data to identify insights, quality gaps, and transformation needs.
• Use Databricks to access, analyze, and transform datasets for reporting.
• Build and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
• Develop Power Query transformations for data preparation.
• Define data objects, attributes, and data quality rules.
• Support data modeling for BI and analytics use cases.
• Contribute to backlog, prioritization, and delivery in Agile/product mode.
• Work with engineers, analysts, product owners to deliver BI solutions.
• Participate in testing, validation, documentation, and deployment activities.
• Prepare data models, report specs, and dashboard guides.
