Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate need for a Databricks & AWS Data Engineering Architect for a 12+ month contract in San Diego, CA. The hybrid role offers a competitive pay range and long-term opportunities with a major Banking Industry client.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and AWS, plus experience leading large-scale migrations, data governance, and CI/CD practices. Collaboration with stakeholders and technical leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Databricks, Data Architecture, PySpark, AWS, SQL, CI/CD, and data governance.
• Hands-on data engineering, data warehousing, and data architecture experience.
• Strong experience with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and AWS.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale migration and modernization programs.
• Experience in CI/CD, data governance, and engineering best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
• Experience leveraging AI accelerators for code generation, code review, testing, and deployment automation.
• Data quality frameworks, validation controls, monitoring, observability, and root-cause analysis.

Immediate need for a talented Databricks & AWS Data Engineering Architect role. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in San Diego, CA(Hybrid).

Pay Range: $130000 - $150000/annum. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: Databricks, Data Architecture, PySpark, AWS, SQL, CI/CD, data governance.
• Hands on experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Data Architecture.
