Databrick Business Development Leader – Data & AI Services

LBMC is a leading professional services and consulting firm helping organizations harness the power of data and AI to transform decision‑making and performance. Our Data Analytics & AI team partners with clients to design, build, and operationalize modern data platforms, leveraging cloud‑native technologies and advanced analytics to create measurable business value.

We’re scaling our Data & AI practice and seeking a highly motivated Databricks Business Development Leader to accelerate growth — with a particular focus on our partnership with Databricks and the broader data ecosystem.

Position Summary

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving new client acquisition and revenue growth for LBMC’s Data & AI consulting services. This individual will focus on identifying opportunities, developing strategic relationships (particularly within the Databricks partner network), and closing deals that help clients modernize their data platforms and implement AI solutions with Databricks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop New Business: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for data platform modernization, analytics, and AI solutions, with a focus on Databricks‑based implementations.
  • Drive Partner Engagement: Leverage and expand relationships within the Databricks Partner Program, working closely with Databricks sales and alliance teams to co‑sell and co‑market LBMC solutions.
  • Consultative Sales: Support client discussions to understand business needs, data maturity, and AI opportunities, and collaborate with solution architects and delivery leaders to craft tailored proposals.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a strong pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and proactive pipeline development.
  • Go‑to‑Market Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to refine offerings, pricing models, and campaigns that align with Databricks’ priorities and the evolving AI landscape.
  • Brand Building: Represent LBMC at industry events, webinars, and conferences to elevate visibility within the data and AI ecosystem; develop a strong Databricks implementation brand for LBMC.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development or sales within the data, analytics, or AI services industry.
  • Preferred Background: Experience in business development working at Databricks or a Databricks partner (e.g., system integrator, consulting firm, or cloud provider).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud data architectures, data engineering, AI/ML solutions, and the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
  • Partnership Experience: Demonstrated success working within the Databricks Partner Program or similar partner program.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent executive communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business audiences.
  • Motivation: Self‑starter who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
