Job summary

Integral Federal, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Network Defense Administrator (Information Assurance Engineer - Senior) to perform a range of network defense activities under PL ALTESS guidelines.

The role focuses on ACAS management, AESS Site Reviewer tasks, and PKI token management within the DoD environment. The candidate will conduct STIG compliance scanning, PPSM support, and security-change impact reviews, plus in-processing/out-processing account tasks and

Qualifications

• Cybersecurity certifications required (CISSP/ISSEP/Security+/CEH).
• 10+ years in Cybersecurity and Incident Response or related areas.
• 10+ years in Cybersecurity and Network Defense related areas.
• Experience with ACAS management (infrastructure, configuration, scanning, reporting, analysis).
• Experience with AESS Site Reviewer activities.
• Experience with DISA Whitelist management.
• Knowledge of PKI Token management.
• Strong DoD STIG knowledge and ability to perform STIG scanning/reporting.
• Experience providing PPSM support.
• Ability to review proposed configuration changes for security impact.
• Experience with in-processing/out-processing tasks around account management.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Senior Cybersecurity Network Defense Administrator (Information Assurance Engineer - Senior) is responsible for performing a variety of network defense activities in accordance with established guidelines and best practices for the U.S. Army Product Lead Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (PL ALTESS).

• The role includes managing ACAS infrastructure, configuration, scanning, reporting, and analysis activities in accordance with the DISA ACAS Best Practices Guide.
• Manage Army Endpoint Security Solution (AESS) Site Reviewer activities, DISA Whitelist, and PKI Tokens.
• Additionally, the role involves performing STIG Compliance scanning and reporting, providing Ports, Protocols, & Services Management (PPSM) support, and reviewing proposed configuration changes for security impact.
• Handle in-processing and out-processing tasks, manage updates to the designated training and certification tracking system, and participate in SW Assurance reviews to ensure ACAS findings are remediated or appropriately documented via eMASS POA&M.

Required

• Cybersecurity Certification (such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)/Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP)/Security+/Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH/etc.)
• 10 or more years’ experience with Cybersecurity and Incident Response or related areas
• 10 or more years’ experience with Cybersecurity and Network Defense related areas
• Experience with ACAS management, including infrastructure management, configuration, scanning, reporting, and analysis.
• Proficiency in managing Army Endpoint Security Solution (AESS) Site Reviewer activities.
• Experience with DISA Whitelist management.
• Knowledge of PKI Token management.
• Strong understanding of DoD STIGs and ability to perform STIG Compliance scanning and reporting.
• Experience providing Ports, Protocols, & Services Management (PPSM) support.
• Ability to review proposed configuration changes for security impact.
• Experience with in-processing and out-processing tasks related to account management functions.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience.
• Familiarity with DISA ACAS Best Practices Guide and NETCOM policies.
• Familiarity with DISA Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Experience with Army enterprise monitoring tools and practices.
• Knowledge of security regulations and best industry practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various Stakeholders
• Experience with incident response activities.
• Understanding of Continuity of Operations Plans and Communication Plans.
• Experience with security compliance and control documentation.
