Job summary
Siltronic is seeking a Database Programmer Analyst II in Portland, OR to design, develop, and maintain complex database systems. You will write and optimize SQL queries, perform routine backups, and tune performance while collaborating with developers and stakeholders.
The role requires 3–5 years in database programming and experience with Oracle and Linux, along with a solid understanding of database design principles and system integrity. Relocation assistance is not offered.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science, IT or related field or equivalent education and experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in database programming, development and analysis.
- 3–5 years of experience with Oracle and Linux.
- Strong knowledge of database design principles and system integrity.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex database systems.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and scripts.
- Perform backups and updates as routine maintenance.
- Conduct performance tuning and indexing for efficiency.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve database issues.
- Create comprehensive documentation for databases and projects.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders.
- Provide technical support to developers and DBAs.
