Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science/IT or related field or equivalent education and experience.
• 3–5 years of database programming, development, analysis in the semiconductor industry preferred.
• Experience with Oracle and Linux is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex database systems.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and scripts.
• Perform routine backups and updates.
• Perform performance tuning and indexing.
• Troubleshoot database issues and resolve hardware/software problems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database structures, refinements, and new projects.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, ensuring system integrity.
• Develop tools for monitoring performance, resources use, and capacity.
• Maintain system backups and documentation.
• Plan OS and software installations and upgrades.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Participate in cross functional project teams providing support to site mission critical projects.
• Provide technical support to developers and DBAs.
• Investigate new IT technologies and share knowledge with team members.
• Train support personnel and maintain
