The State of New Hampshire, NH Department of Corrections, Division of Administration has a full-time vacancy for Database Specialist.

Summary

Acts as lead application development specialist to direct, oversee, monitor and coordinate the selection, design, development, security, performance and maintenance of Microsoft SQL databases. Assumes responsibility for data that is accessed and updated by Inmate Service applications such as education, recreation and industries in addition to data that is accessed and updated by agency staff.

• YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS:** Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education/Experience:** Equivalent combination of 10 years of education and experience after completion of high school. Education and experience must be in computer science, computer programming, systems analysis, or a related field, with at least 3 years in systems analysis associated with late generation medium or large scale on-line computer systems or computer networks.
