Insight Global is seeking a Senior Database Specialist to lead administration, security, maintenance, and improvement of enterprise Oracle database environments. You will ensure high availability, perform upgrades, patching, and tuning while collaborating with security and operations teams.

The role requires extensive Oracle RDBMS experience, plus PostgreSQL exposure, AWS RDS/CloudWatch, and strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Formación

• 10+ years of database admin/development experience
• Strong Oracle RDBMS administration experience
• Experience with database security, auditing, and controls
• Experience with AWS (RDS, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch/CloudTrail, DMS)
• PostgreSQL experience
• Experience with large-scale relational databases in secure environments
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Database Specialist. This role will focus on the administration, security, maintenance, and improvement of enterprise Oracle database environments.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of database administration/development experience
• Strong Oracle RDBMS administration experience, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Experience with database security, user access, auditing, and controls
• Experience supporting large-scale relational databases in secure environments
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience supporting financial, budgeting, logistics, or enterprise business systems
• AWS experience, including RDS, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, or DMS
• PostgreSQL experience
• Experience with Git and JIRAOracle, AWS, PostgreSQL, or related database/cloud certifications
