Harmonia Holdings has an exciting opportunity for a Database Programmer to join our rapidly growing team supporting a federal government client.
Essential Job Functions:
  1. Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex databases while providing technical solutions to projects which may be in different stages of the development life cycle.
  2. Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures, and integration of systems through database design.
  3. Requires knowledge and experience with multiple Oracle or SQL Server DBMS Languages.
  4. Ability to deliver O&M and system enhancement support by executing all phases of application programming activities.
  5. Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of database management.
The following prior experience will ensure you have the skills necessary to excel in this role:
  1. Hands-on experience in developing complex database objects like Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers using SQL and PL/SQL.
  2. Writing generic PL/SQL code modules (PL/SQL libraries) for reports to handle data manipulations.
  3. Experience in data loading, DDL scripts, and control files for extracting data from simple flat text files and Excel files.
  4. Writing scripts to create tables, indexes, views, synonyms, grants, roles, and privileges.
  5. Knowledge of Toad for Oracle IDE, relational data modeling, technical writing/documentation, Oracle replication (materialized views, data marts), government change control processes, Excel, and Github.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
  1. US citizenship is required.
  2. Able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  3. Bachelor's degree.
  4. At least 5+ years of experience as a Database Programmer for Intermediate level consideration.
  5. At least 10+ years of experience as a Database Programmer for Senior level consideration.

  1. Ability to work as a team player.
  2. Detailed documentation skills.
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  4. Strong customer service/client-facing skills.
