Job summary

Centurum, Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking a SQL Server Database Engineer to support current and future technologies, with a focus on automation and reliable data solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance. You will design and develop SQL Server databases, implement ETL processes, SSRS/SSIS, and work with ASP.NET/Web development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MS Access, and VBA ETL & reporting.
• Experience designing and developing SQL Server databases and related objects.
• Knowledge of linked SQL Server tables, unbound forms, DAO/ADO.
• Experience with SSRS and SSIS.
• Basic networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide SQL Server database engineering to support design, development, maintenance, and documentation.
• Develop business software solutions to automate workflows.
• Participate in code reviews and implement feedback.
• Identify enhancements to improve tools, processes, and performance.
• Work autonomously and in a team, communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
