Job summary

Spectrum offers a paid, full-time 11-week internship in Charlotte, designed to give real-world experience in information technology within the telecommunications sector.

You'll rotate between the department and intern cohort, with majority time on department projects and some time for professional development, networking, and mentorship to help you grow professionally and technically.

Qualifications

• Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university completing a bachelor's degree.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program.

Responsibilities

• Assist database administration across Oracle, SQL Server, and NoSQL environments with provisioning and tuning.
• Support database lifecycle tasks: provisioning, patching, upgrades, migrations, decommissioning.
• Contribute to data warehouse and cloud operations, including AWS Redshift, scripting, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and automation teams on POCs, dashboards, and APIs.
