Job summary

Qualifications

• Rising senior with expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA in current program.
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise database environments across on-premises and cloud platforms with administration, lifecycle management, security, and analytics.
• Assist with Oracle, SQL Server, and NoSQL tuning, provisioning, and capacity planning.
• Participate in database lifecycle tasks: provisioning, patching, upgrades, migrations, decommissioning.
• Contribute to database security activities, vulnerability management, and audit support.
• Gain experience in data warehouse and cloud operations (AWS Redshift, scripting, monitoring, deployments).
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and automation teams on POCs, dashboards, APIs, ML, and automation using Ansible/Nebula.
