About the Team:

We are responsible for managing cloud operations for Intapp products and services, such as building, automating, monitoring, documenting, securing, and managing all infrastructure and database systems. The team interacts and works cooperatively with development, product management, professional service,s and other teams and provides expertise that promotes constant performance and improvements for our products.

Position Overview:

The database administrator is responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of SQL Server systems. The main goal is to ensure the security, availability and consistent performance of Intapp platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain SQL Server instances and databases
• Proactive monitoring system health and performance
• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
• Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
• Provide suggestions for solutions
• On-call support in emergencies
• Perform regularmaintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
• Check and optimize SQL queries

You will have the opportunity to:

• Work cooperatively with the development, cloud operation team, and security professionals, working on different components of the solution.
• Become an expert in building SQL Server solutions.
• Build High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions for SQL Server in the cloud.
• Analyze configurations of environments and provide improvement plans and upgrades.

Our ideal candidate would have:

• 3+ years of experience working as a SQL Server DBA.
• 2+ years of experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for SQL Servers.
• Microsoft Azure Cloud Experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server AlwaysOn.
• 2+ years of experience with performance tuning and optimization.
• 3+ years of experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.
• Analytical databases experience, especially Snowflake.
• Script language knowledge (PowerShell/Python).
• Terraform usage experience.
• Experience with Windows server, including Active Directory, Windows Cluster.
