Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Database Developer to design, develop, optimize, and support database solutions that enable business operations, reporting, and data migration initiatives. You will write efficient T-SQL, develop objects, troubleshoot issues, and partner with teams to deliver secure, maintainable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in database development or related role.
• Strong experience writing, troubleshooting, and optimizing T-SQL code (procedures, views, functions, triggers).
• Solid understanding of data management, SQL permissions, monitoring, and modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in MIS/CS/CE or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business and technical requirements; design, develop, test, and implement secure, reliable database solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize T-SQL queries and database objects to support operations, reporting, and migrations.
• Apply database development and data management best practices (security, monitoring, performance tuning, data modeling).
• Support ERP conversion and modernization, including data cleansing, migration validation, and post-implementation support.
• Troubleshoot incidents related to queries, connectivity, integrations, and production defects; document corrective actions.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, application, and business teams to improve database environments.
• Review code and provide feedback to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Plan work by defining tasks, estimating effort, documenting solutions, and communicating status to stakeholders.
• Participate in change management with risk assessment, deployment/rollback planning, and knowledge sharing.
