Job summary

SBA Communications in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Database Developer II to support SQL databases, optimize queries, and assist developers. The role involves collaborating with DBAs to understand requirements, handling multiple requests, and tuning performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle multiple ad-hoc requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience designing and implementing complex processes in TSQL with stored procedures, views, and functions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with database Operations (DBAs) to understand database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, programming and reviewing objectives with stakeholders.
• Handle multiple simultaneous adhoc requests from users and prioritize based on business need in a fast paced, challenging environment.
• Design, code, and implement complex business process within TSQL using Stored Procedures, views, functions, and .Net where applicable.
• Maintains database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems; calculating optimum values for parameters; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases; completing maintenance; answering user questions.
