Job summary

Ardmore Roderick in Chicago is seeking a Database Developer to join the infrastructure team at Jardine Water Purification Plant. You will design, optimize, and deploy database objects, collaborate with analysts, and support on-premise systems and data integration efforts.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of SQL Server and Oracle experience, strong SQL, ETL, and data modeling skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Experience with SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, and Oracle SQL Developer.
• Proficiency in designing database objects and data models for BI and enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

• Design stable, reliable database objects and procedures based on requirements.
• Translate issues and requirements for management and staff; understand business impact.
• Modify database objects and perform tests; ensure data quality and integrity.
• Liaise with analysts and business owners to improve applications and practices.
• Develop data models, ETL processes, and documentation for projects.
• Provide technical support for on-premise systems and tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to link backend databases to web interfaces.
