Inadev is seeking a Database Architect to own the data architecture for a high-volume filing platform on AWS. You will design data models, storage strategies, and data-flow patterns to ensure performance, integrity, security, and regulatory auditability.

The role requires 10+ years of data engineering/architecture experience, deep expertise in data modeling, and strong AWS data services proficiency. Hybrid schedule in Reston, VA with potential client-site engagements in the DC area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the target-state data architecture and data models for the platform
• Design storage, partitioning, and access strategies on AWS data services (Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, Redshift)
• Define data governance, lineage, and quality standards
• Architect data pipelines, integration, and dissemination patterns
• Ensure data security, encryption, and regulatory auditability
• Partner with product and cloud architects on cross-domain data concerns
• Support analytics and AI/ML data enablement
• Review data designs and mentor database developers

Non-Technical Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (2 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
