The Office of Information Services (OIS) supports the Oregon Health Authority and other clients by providing technology systems and services. The OIS Child Welfare Development Team seeks an experienced Database Analyst IV with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, data security, and regulatory compliance to support child welfare data modernization and transformation initiatives.

Scope

Participate in executing data strategy for Child Welfare programs, modernize data assets, and develop future technical environments.

Tasks

• Develop database structures based on specifications and standards.
• Ensure compliance with data security and federal regulations.
• Follow change request processes with development and data management teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• 7-10 years in SQL Server, T-SQL, and Business Intelligence.
• Experience with HTML, Windows OS, Visual Studio, .NET, MVC, JSON, XML, C#, JavaScript, TCP/IP.
• Strong data analysis and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SDLC, Agile, requirements elicitation, modernization projects, and working in human services contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and 2+ years relevant experience, or equivalent substitutions such as certifications or advanced training.
