Experience within a healthcare environment, preferred.Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Designs and implements database structures based on organizational requirements. Collaborates with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for database solutions. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties for moderately complex workflows and systems. Monitors and optimizes database performance, including tuning queries and database configurations. Implements and manages security measures to protect sensitive data, including access controls and encryption. Develops and maintains backup procedures and disaster recovery plans to ensure data availability and integrity. Ensures data accuracy, consistency, and reliability within the database. Maintains and updates SQL code to correct errors and enhance functionality. Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards and assists with audits. Partners with business process experts to learn and understand database problems, making recommendations for enhancements and solutions. Plans for future database capacity and storage needs, assessing current usage and forecasting growth.
