blueStone is seeking a Database Administrator to design, administer, and maintain enterprise database systems including Oracle and SQL Server. The role involves tuning databases for performance and providing support for application projects. Strong intermediate RDBMS skills and familiarity with UNIX and Windows are required.

Qualifications

• Intermediate RDBMS skills in SQL Server, Oracle, Progress, MySQL, or DB2.
• Intermediate UNIX, Windows, and/or mainframe Operating Systems knowledge.
• Strong time/project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, administer and maintain enterprise database systems.
• Assist developers with code tuning for successful implementations.
• Participate in disaster recovery tests and manage backup processes.
