  • Install, configure, and maintain Banner modules, including Student, Finance, HR, Financial Aid and others.
  • Manage database objects, including tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures, to support Banner ERP operations.
  • Assist with the deployment of new Banner ERP features and modules, ensuring database compatibility and performance.

  • Ensure that database systems comply with organizational security policies and standards.
  • Implement and manage database security protocols, including user access controls, encryption, and auditing.
  • Assist in audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to data management and protection.

Disaster Recovery:

  • Develop, implement, and test disaster recovery plans for the Banner environment with an emphasis on Oracle database systems.
  • Ensure that backup and recovery processes are in place and functioning correctly.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Collaborate with IT teams, including network, systems, and application administrators, to ensure seamless integration and operation of the Banner ERP system.
  • Provide support for Banner and related application issues, responding to incidents and troubleshooting problems as they arise.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with specific experience supporting the Banner ERP system.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and backup/recovery strategies.
