Job description

Join AZAD as an Oracle Database Administrator and provide support for IT Infrastructure and platform services' functions including the administration of high-availability hardware and system architecture, security monitoring, and capacity planning to maintain system configurations and compliance. This individual will also provide database administration and data integration, including capacity planning, backup and recovery, data integrity and continuous data security.

This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid in Portland, Oregon with onsite 1-2 days weekly.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $70.00 - $76.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

The ideal candidates must possess the following:

A bachelor's degree in information technology (or closely related technical discipline) is preferred.

6+ years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor's degree.

10+ years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree.

Experience should include directly related IT infrastructure administration.

5+ years of knowledge and experience sufficient to administer Oracle 11gR2 and Oracle 12c on a Red Hat or Oracle Enterprise Linux platform.

5+ years of knowledge of and experience sufficient to successfully troubleshoot Linux and Windows operating systems using text-based logs, windows event logs, and various utilities as it pertains to support of Oracle Database services.

5+ years of knowledge of and experience with TCP/IP and related services.

5+ years knowledge of and experience building tools for other administrators to use and automating operations with scripting tools such as shell scripting, Perl, Python, and PowerShell.
