Job summary

You will monitor, troubleshoot, and upgrade production databases, design scalable architecture, and work with cross-functional teams to optimize data services. A BS degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Solid background in administrating and deploying a large-scale system.
• Strong communication skills with ability to push technical issues to resolution in a fast-paced environment.
• Day-to-day management activities of production databases for system operations. This includes monitoring, troubleshooting, change management, database upgrades & installs, creating backups, and restoring data
• Design database architecture for large scale, production-quality services
• Participation in daily stand-up discussions and iterative, ongoing database development work
• Self-motivated with the ability to identify needed processes using best practices
