Metropolitan Companies Wyomissing is seeking a Database Administrator to join the IT Development team. The role focuses on maintaining data from vendors and supporting database servers and applications.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree ideal), strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, life, disability, 401k, and a bonus program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree ideal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet goals.
• Prior IT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain process maps and pricing data from vendors.
• Coordinate the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database servers and applications.
• Analyze and identify errors presented in databases and applications, determine root cause and possible solutions.
• Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner.
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support.
• Coordinate and communicate with vendor IT departments.
• Perform other duties as needed.
