• U.S. Citizenship and active DoD SECRET Clearance required.

Experience as a Database Administrator in a DoD Environment

This position supports an upcoming need beginning fall 2025.

Primary Functions:

1. Provide technical assessments for major project planning.
2. Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
3. Coordinate changes to computer databases.
4. Identify, investigate, and resolve database performance issues, capacity, and scalability.
5. Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard databases.

Education/Experience/Skills:

• U.S. Citizenship and active DoD SECRET Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field. Substitution: Associate degree plus two years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Database Administrator within a DoD/Federal environment.
• Experience supporting legacy systems and cloud migration utilizing SQL Reporting.
• Supporting USN/DoD experience is preferred.
• Experience with All Weapons Information Systems (USN) is preferred.
