Yakshna Solutions, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking a Database Administrator IV to manage Oracle databases across production and non-production environments. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement at our Richmond location and pays $100,000-$110,000 annually with comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and migration planning to OCI, ensuring performance and security across the ERP landscape.

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

• Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) database.
• Implement data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolve ERP database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.
• Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Administer, maintain, and support Oracle 19c and Oracle 26ai databases across enterprise production and non-production environments.
• Support Oracle databases in OCI and on-premises environments, including planning and executing database migrations from on-premises infrastructure to OCI.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard Physical Standby environments running on Linux.
• Perform RMAN backup and recovery, Data Pump export/import, database patching, upgrades, security administration, and disaster recovery activities.
• Monitor and optimize database performance using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and other diagnostic and performance-tuning tools.
• Troubleshoot complex database and infrastructure issues while maintaining technical documentation and communicating effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Provide additional support for Linux/Unix administration and Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or newer; Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is highly preferred.

Salary: $100,000-110,000 annually with benefits
