Position Overview
The Database Administrator is responsible for the design, logical/physical data modeling, stored procedure/trigger development, database configuration/tuning, and system documentation of all internally developed databases. In this role you will develop procedures for automating data feeds and data transformation process between external and internal data systems and among internal data sources and for automating data warehouse processes. This position requires strong data architecture, logical, and physical modeling, and effective communication skills.
The Database Administrator performs duties within a multi-function, cross-division, or mission critical environment. This person uses SQL Server, Epic Cogito applications, and other development tools. They work closely with developers, programmers, and system administrators. The Database Administrator assists in developing a long-term plan for Information Systems. This position will be part of a 24x7 rotational on-call roster to ensure ongoing support is available for the business.
