Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Database Administrator to provide mission-critical data and system support for ATEC enterprise applications at Fort Hood, TX and White Sands NM. The role ensures data integrity, performance, and recoverability across MS-SQL, MySQL, Oracle, and other government-approved platforms.

You will manage storage, backups, RMF artifacts, and eMASS package maintenance, and coordinate with the government on cybersecurity certifications. A high school diploma is required, U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI eligibility for certain duties.
• DoD 8140/8570 baseline certification appropriate to the role.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support MS-SQL, MySQL, Oracle and other government-approved databases.
• Manage data storage, monitor usage, and optimize performance.
• Support database backup, archiving, and recovery with government tools.
• Maintain data integrity and report discrepancies within two hours.
• Support RMF accreditation artifacts and eMASS package maintenance.

Position Title: Database AdministratorLocation: Fort Hood, TX; White Sands Missile Range, NMClearance required: Secret minimum (Tier 3 / T3R); Top Secret / SCI eligible (Tier 5 / T5R) required to administer classified systems or networks or for critical- or special-sensitive duties.Scope of Work: Provides database and systems administration for ATEC enterprise applications and management information systems, ensuring data integrity, performance, and recoverability.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Administer and support MS-SQL, MySQL, Oracle, and other Government-approved database platformsManage data storage, monitor device usage, and implement measures to maintain and improve system performanceSupport database backup, archive, and recovery using Government-approved tools and scripting languagesContinually monitor data integrity and notify the Government within two work hours of any database discrepancySupport RMF accreditation artifacts and eMASS package maintenance for designated systemsHigh school diploma or equivalent (minimum)U.S. citizenshipAbility to speak, read, write, and understand English proficientlyProficiency with computers and Microsoft Office softwareActive Secret clearance; Top Secret / SCI eligibility (Tier 5 / T5R) required for classified system developmentDoD 8140 / 8570.01-M baseline certification appropriate to the assigned work role and level, held prior to performance, with the required computing environment (CE) certification obtained within six (6) months of appointment.
