KATMAI is seeking an experienced Database Specialist to provide technical support for maintenance information and inventory management system databases. You will oversee database development, assess new technologies, and guide long-term database strategy to align with business opportunities.

Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting and in some offsite locations during project transitioning with a wide variety of people in different functions, personalities and abilities. Employee may be exposed to sharp objects and may be exposed to some heat, loud noise, chemicals, lead and vibration. Katmai strictly adheres to the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHA) regulations. Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory if applicable. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities.
Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing and seeing up close, at a distance, along the periphery, with depth perception and the ability to adjust focus; occasional walking or standing, occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
