Billings Clinic is seeking a Database Administrator to manage, optimize and secure our critical database systems in a fast‑paced healthcare environment. You will ensure reliable performance, implement backup/recovery plans, and collaborate with operations and development teams to support clinical and administrative applications.
The role requires hands‑on SQL Server experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and the ability to train staff while driving continuous improvement.

Starting Wage DOE: $47.36 - $59.20
The Database Administrator provides database management and technical support for assigned database systems. This role is responsible for supporting reliable database performance, backup and recovery processes, troubleshooting, and ongoing database maintenance to meet current and future organizational needs. The position works closely with systems architecture, application development, and application support teams to maintain a secure, efficient, and high-performing database environment.
This position is distinguished by its advanced database knowledge, ownership of database outcomes start-to-finish, and responsibility for identifying problems, determining root causes, recommending solutions, and supporting long-term improvements in database performance. The role also serves as a senior technical resource by helping to train and develop technical support and application staff in using online processing database environments.
The Database Administrator is expected to stay current with industry trends, identify effective tools for troubleshooting and maintenance, and develop methods to continually assess database performance and identify areas for improvement.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered. Employees that require a licensed or certification must be properly licensed/certified and the licensure/certification must be in good standing.
