Job summary

Nastech Global is seeking a Database Administrator for a 6-month Contract-to-Hire engagement in Suffolk, VA. The role requires securing DoD/federal standards experience and an IAT II certification, with on-site work five days a week in a Secret-cleared environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years managing enterprise databases, strong experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL, and a focus on high availability, performance tuning, and security administration within mission-critical systems.

Top Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing enterprise database environments with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Strong knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and high-availability configurations
• Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical systems within a secure environment under CD_CPU, DoD, or federal standards
• IAT II Certified
