Job summary

Referment is seeking a Product Manager to own the data infrastructure behind its people analytics platform. You will connect human-capital, analytics and engineering teams to shape secure data products that support reporting, business intelligence and new generative‑AI use cases.

This is a technical product role spanning schemas, ETL, APIs and delivery—from translating stakeholder needs to detailing requirements, through development, testing, rollout and operational support.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of product-management experience with data or analytics products.
• Strong Excel, SQL and Python skills; experience with data engineers, data scientists and software developers.
• Working knowledge of ETL, BI infrastructure, APIs and data modelling.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, own delivery and handle confidential information.
• Generative‑AI infrastructure experience (vector databases, RAG or semantic search) is useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Design ETL transformations and data models for reliable, scalable datasets.
• Shape an API layer centralising business logic, permissions and contracts for downstream consumers.
• Develop product direction for natural-language querying, semantic search and AI-driven workflows.
• Partner with reporting specialists, developers and data scientists to define technical solutions.
• Manage the backlog, sprint planning, stakeholder relationships and rollout across the data platform.
