Job summary

Wisconsin Department of Children & Families (DCF) is seeking a Data Warehouse Developer to design, develop, and maintain relational databases for data storage and data mining.

Key tasks include migrating mappings from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC, ETL design and testing, and developing loading specifications to ensure reliable data. This role collaborates with IT and business users and is mostly remote with onsite as needed in Madison, WI.

Qualifications

• Experience migrating assets from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC and validating performance.
• Skills in relational and dimensional data models and slowly changing dimensions.
• Excellent communication and ability to gather requirements from customers and staff.
• Knowledge of the project life cycle: planning, design, coding, testing, implementation, support.

Responsibilities

• Migrate mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows from PowerCenter to IDMC.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes for data warehousing initiatives.
• Develop loading specifications and ensure reliability of data.
• Improve DW performance and data security, collaborating with IT and business users.
• Perform data warehouse design, metadata work, and repository creation.
• Create processes for entering data into warehousing systems and ensure data reliability.
