Job summary

Wisconsin Department of Children & Families (DCF) is seeking a Data Warehouse Developer to design, develop, and maintain relational databases for data storage and data mining.

Key tasks include migrating mappings from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC, ETL design and testing, and developing loading specifications to ensure reliable data. This role collaborates with IT and business users and is mostly remote with onsite as needed in Madison, WI.

Qualifications

• Experience migrating assets from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC and validating performance.
• Skills in relational and dimensional data models and slowly changing dimensions.

Description:

Our client seeks a Data Warehouse Developer to design, develop, and maintain relational databases for data storage and data mining.

Tasks

• Responsible for migrating mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC.
• Assist in ETL design, development, testing, maintenance, metadata, and implementation of data warehouse initiatives. Understand user requirements and implement solutions that ensure requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables.
• Develop ETL mapping specifications for loading information into the data warehouse and for ensuring reliability of information loaded.
• Seek continuous improvement in performance & tuning of data warehouse and ensure security of data.
• Works with other IT technical teams and Business users to understand requirements and recommend & implement solutions.
• Perform data warehouse design and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation.
• Develop processes and procedures for entering information into data warehousing systems and for ensuring reliability of information entered.
• Seek continuous improvement in performance of data warehouse and ensure security of data.
