micro1 is seeking a Data-Video Generalist for a fully remote contractor role. You will record everyday household chores using your cellphone from a first-person perspective and get paid per hour of valid video submissions.

Start soon with immediate availability; equipment shipping may affect start timing. A signing bonus is offered at project milestones, and you must own a compatible smartphone and be comfortable wearing head-strap gear.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Capture household tasks using your smartphone during specified physical tasks.
• Record synchronized video footage.
• Complete a device compatibility check and an AI-enabled interview during onboarding.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Must own a compatible smartphone: iPhone 12 or later, Google Pixel 6 to 9, or Samsung Galaxy S21 or later.
• Must be comfortable wearing a phone mount equipment shipped to you.
• Physical capability to perform repetitive movement tasks safely.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.

Compensation Structure

• You will be paid per hour of recorded video that you submit that is in line with project guidelines.

Start Timeline & Availability

• Roles are being filled with immediate availability, with your starting time dependent on the shipping time of headstrap equipment to your home.

Equipment Requirements

• Mobile: You'll need a smartphone to complete this project. You'll use it to record yourself while performing the required tasks.
• Head Strap / Wearable: You'll also need a head strap to record first-person videos while doing your chores. We will pay you $20 as a signing bonus and reimbursement for your headstrap purchase after you complete 20 hours of work with us!
