Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to perform validation on customer remediation events using SQL Server, Oracle, Netezza, PostgreSQL and SAS in line with the Customer Remediation Policy.

You will analyze remediation populations, challenge initial data, and collaborate with the business to drive milestones through the remediation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than six years of applicable experience.
• Experience with SQL to extract and transform data from multiple database sources and structures.
• Knowledge of PCS, CPTS, and/or MPS systems and merchant processing and/or retail credit experience.
• Two or more years of experience in testing, audit, and/or an applicable risk management environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from Customer Remediation Events in accordance with the Customer Remediation Policy.
• Use SQL database queries across SQL Server, Oracle, and Netezza; transform and analyze data with tools like SAS, Excel, Toad, pgAdmin, or VS Code.
• Compare population data to the initial business population to challenge accuracy and remediation calculations.
• Partner with the business to progress through milestones and complete the remediation process.
• Execute population and milestone testing during validation of customer remediation events.
• Review and test remediation population data to ensure complete and accurate remediation populations and calculations are provided to customers.
