Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SQL queries for validation, profiling and troubleshooting data issues.
• 3+ years of experience in data validation.
• QA mindset for data validations.
• BS in computer science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, maintainable SQL queries for validation, profiling, and troubleshooting data issues.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for data pipelines and DB changes.
• Execute performance/regression checks for critical queries and flag regressions due to schema or logic updates.
• Work with data engineers, analysts, and product owners to clarify mappings and acceptance criteria.
• Perform source-to-target validation, including record-level reconciliation, aggregates, and checksum/hash comparisons.
