Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Data Test Engineer to validate data quality across SAP S/4HANA ERP interfaces and migrations within JTMS. You will design data test cases, run SQL validations, and ensure source-to-target reconciliation in a SAFe Agile environment.

The role requires at least 5 years in software testing including data testing, a Secret clearance, and strong SQL and data-analysis skills. Travel up to 10% and a full-time, remote-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 5 years in software testing with at least 2 years dedicated to data testing for large-scale enterprise or ERP systems.
• Hands-on experience with data validation, ETL/ELT testing, source-to-target reconciliation, data migration/conversion testing, and data-quality testing.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, comparing, aggregating, reconciling, and troubleshooting data across relational databases.
• Strong working knowledge of SAFe Framework, SDLC, and Agile development practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, data mappings, transformation rules, and source-to-target specifications to define data test conditions and acceptance criteria.
• Design, build, and maintain data test cases, SQL queries, reconciliation checks, test data sets, and expected results for SAP S/4HANA and integrated applications.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, referential relationships, formats, and business-rule compliance across systems.
• Test data extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading, conversion, and reconciliation activities; verify migrated data against source-to-target rules.
• Validate inbound and outbound data exchanges among SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, Mendix, interfaces, and external systems; assess error handling.
• Document data defects with queries, evidence, expected/actual results, and reproducible steps; track issues through resolution and retest.
• Create and maintain data test plans, test cases, test evidence, traceability, reconciliation results, and data-quality reports aligned with SAFe practices.
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, analysts, stakeholders, and integration teams to maximize test coverage and resolve data issues.
