EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a seasoned Data Technology Consultant to join our Data & AI practice and drive modernization programs for clients worldwide, helping move from legacy warehouses to a lakehouse and unlock analytics and AI use cases previously out of reach.

You will own presales end-to-end, design cloud-native architectures with Databricks and Snowflake, and collaborate with sales, delivery, and technical teams to deliver measurable business value across industries.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data technology consulting or data architecture.
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong understanding of legacy data warehousing and ETL tools (Oracle, DB2, Informatica, SSIS) and migration challenges.
• Proven track record leading enterprise data modernization programs into production.
• Excellent storytelling and executive-level advisory skills.

We are seeking a seasoned Data Technology Consultant to join our expanding Data & AI practice and help drive Data & AI Modernization Programs for EPAM clients. This role bridges technology and business value: you will help enterprises retire legacy data warehouses and ETL platforms, move to a modern lakehouse stack, and unlock analytics and AI use cases that were out of reach before.

You will design innovative modernization solutions, own presales end-to-end, and bring strategic advisory plus deep technical know-how to senior client stakeholders across worldwide industries.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Professional Background: 7+ years of experience in data technology consulting, data architecture, or solution architecture delivering enterprise-scale data platforms

• Modern Cloud & Lakehouse Platforms: Proven hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) across major cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Legacy Migration Experience: Strong understanding of legacy data warehousing and traditional ETL tools (e.g., Oracle, DB2, Informatica, SSIS) and enterprise migration challenges

• Track Record of Modernization: Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-workload enterprise data modernization and migration programs into production

• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and executive-level advisory skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business narratives

Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $160,000 - $220,000.
