Job summary

City Electric Supply is seeking an entry-level Core Product data team member to collect, transform, and load data into the STEP MDM system to enrich our core product information. You will work under supervision while following the department's data governance guidelines in a hybrid environment.

You will perform data preparation, entering, validating, and coordinating with team members to ensure data quality and consistency across sources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years' experience in a relevant field.
• Strong MS Office and Excel skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• High typing accuracy.
• Passionate about data quality.
• Electrical industry knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with Stibo STEP is a plus.
• Ability to work within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares source data for entry by gathering and sorting information.
• Transforms source documents into input formats after review.
• Resolves discrepancies using standard procedures.
• Enters data via manual entry or batch loads from input source.
• Verifies entered data and maintains accuracy per governance procedures.
• Contributes to team effort and process improvements.
• Works independently while coordinating with others.
• Develops positive relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
• Willing to work overtime if necessary.
