Job summary

Archer, in collaboration with Kainos, seeks a Data Technical Architect (Consultant) to design and deliver technical components within a comprehensive data solution. You will collaborate with Solution and Customer Architects to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business goals.

You will own the technical design, estimate effort, and help shape the data architecture across the project. Strong stakeholder communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Ownership of a component, sub-system or product (data ingestion/streaming).
• Proficient in communicating technical decisions to non-technical audiences.
• Apply design standards, patterns, and deployment readiness.
• Design, build and productionise modern distributed data-intensive apps.
• Experience with Java, Scala or Python and multiple paradigms.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver technical components as part of a data solution.
• Collaborate with Solution and Customer Architects to integrate components.
• Set technical standards and ensure they are upheld.
• Estimate timelines for technical delivery.
• Contribute to pre-sales technical design.
• Lead and mentor a small team, guiding performance and development.
• Advance data analysis communities and data analytics capability.
