Job summary

Veeva Systems, Inc. is seeking an entrepreneurial professional to lead a team of country data product managers for OpenData Europe. You will drive product excellence across markets, building and mentoring a high-performing team within a technical context.

Responsibilities include collaborating with product, data operations, and analysts to enhance data quality and roadmap execution, and partnering with the European Director for Data to shape market-specific strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data, technology, or technical services.
• 3+ years experience of building and managing high performing teams.
• Analytical depth with the ability to dive into data curation workflows and quality metrics.
• Ability to execute with speed while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

The Role

Our vision for Veeva OpenData is to become the global leader in reference data for the life sciences industry. The world's top pharma and biotech companies use OpenData to help them to bring life-saving treatments to patients faster.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial professional to manage our team of country data product managers for OpenData Europe. You will be responsible for driving product excellence across all markets. If you have an edge in building and managing high performing teams within a technical context and have a passion for building excellent products then this is your opportunity.

What You'll Do

• Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of country data product managers
• Work closely with the product team, data operations, and analysts to continuously improve the productivity and quality of our data factory
• Partner with the European Director for Data to develop the product roadmap for your respective markets
• Drive execution against the product roadmap

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in data, technology, or technical services
• 3+ years experience of building and managing high performing teams
• Analytical depth with the ability to dive into operational details, such as data curation workflows and complex data quality metrics, without losing sight of the strategic big picture
• Ability to execute with speed while maintaining attention to detail and quality
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Fast learner and exceptional work ethic

Nice to Have

• Life Sciences Expertise: Experience building data products specifically for the life sciences industry
• Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., French, German, Polish, Arabic)
