Job summary

Oracle US is seeking a Data Systems Software Developer to own a feature area’s data model and architect scalable services spanning OLTP/OLAP, JSON, spatial, and graph data models. You will optimize queries, drive performance baselines, and collaborate with product management and UX to run experiments and analyze adoption and retention.

You will lead debugging across services and database layers, ensure accessible design, and coach engineers through the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own a feature area’s data model across OLTP/OLAP, JSON, spatial, or graph.
• Define performance budgets and enforce query patterns that meet latency targets at scale.
• Partner with product management to design experiments that drive adoption, conversion, and retention; analyze results to inform roadmap.
• Architect existing and complex new services.
• Designs software solutions and analyzes and identifies requirements to achieve business goals.
