Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a data professional to implement and maintain Common Data Models (CDMs) for research, and to write ETL scripts to populate these models. The role collaborates with PM teams to gather data requirements for new studies and to ensure data credibility and availability.

Responsibilities include developing SQL, ETL processes, and generating reports for leadership and publications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 3 years of work in modification/maintenance of system programs or related fields.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree may substitute for required work experience.
• Experience with data queries and research data requests is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and run SQL queries and reports for research data requests.
• Develop, maintain, and evaluate ETL processes to support projects.
• Prepare reports for colleagues, leadership, publications and presentations.
• Gather data requirements for funded studies with data owners.
• Collaborate with team members and PMs to complete tasks on time.
