Analyzes and normalizes relevant information related to business processes, functions, and operations to evaluate data credibility and determine relevance and meaning. Develops, implements, and oversees policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software. Job Duties

• 35%Data analyst tasks working on developing SQL for research data requests (serving as a data honest broker), which include developing and running queries and reports and verifying results for research projects.


• 30% ETL Development: Evaluate ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools/solutions as database sizes grow to include more data and different data types. Maintain, modify existing, and/or develop new ETL to support our projects.


• 15% Prepare reports for research colleagues, leadership, scientific publications and presentation.


• 10% Gathering data requirements for new and existing funded studies and working with various data owners to determine sources of needed data.


• 10% Work with other team members and project managers as needed through meetings and collaborative programming to ensure that the assigned tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.
