Develops, implements, and oversees policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software. Job Duties


  • 35%Data analyst tasks working on developing SQL for research data requests (serving as a data honest broker), which include developing and running queries and reports and verifying results for research projects.

  • 30% ETL Development: Evaluate ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools/solutions as database sizes grow to include more data and different data types. Maintain, modify existing, and/or develop new ETL to support our projects.

  • 15% Prepare reports for research colleagues, leadership, scientific publications and presentation.

  • 10% Gathering data requirements for new and existing funded studies and working with various data owners to determine sources of needed data.

  • 10% Work with other team members and project managers as needed through meetings and collaborative programming to ensure that the assigned tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.
