Job summary

THE·TEAM, headquartered in Los Angeles, is seeking a dynamic Data Strategy Project Manager to join the Global Insights and Innovation team with a focus on data strategy and governance. You will drive data-focused initiatives from planning through delivery, shaping how data projects align with organizational goals while ensuring compliance and disciplined management.

You will work with the Data and Technology Advisory Group to guide platform choices, manage timelines and budgets, and influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of project management experience, preferably technical or data-focused.
• Experience shaping data strategy roadmaps and prioritization.
• Solid knowledge of data governance (quality, stewardship, privacy, compliance).
• Experience with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, CCPA).

Responsibilities

• Lead data-related projects end-to-end: scoping, planning, execution, and delivery.
• Build and own project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across workstreams.
• Establish and refine project operating mechanisms – status cadences, intake processes, and launch readiness criteria.
• Remove blockers and make decisions to maintain momentum.
• Hold workstreams accountable to delivery timelines while allowing discovery.
• Drive go/no-go decisions for major milestones and data platform changes.
• Communicate project strategy, progress, and outcomes to leadership.
