Job summary

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Data Analysis to align data strategy with business priorities and manage the Data Office roadmap.

You’ll translate enterprise strategy into executable plans, drive funded initiatives, and report progress to executives in collaboration with stakeholders. The role requires strong data program leadership, budget oversight, and experience delivering value through data platforms and AI/ML concepts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data strategy, data management, or similar leadership roles, preferably in insurance, banking or related fields.
• Experience leading cross-functional data programs from design through delivery.
• Demonstrated ownership of budget planning, financial tracking, and cost management.
• Strong understanding of value realization, business case development, and ROI tracking.
• Proven ability to prepare and deliver clear, concise executive briefings.
• Deep knowledge of data ecosystems (data platforms, governance, AI/ML concepts).
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Act as program manager and delivery lead for high-priority data initiatives across the Data Office.
• Support definition of Data Office priorities aligned to enterprise objectives and ensure resources and execution are linked to priorities.
• Assist annual and multi-year financial planning for the Data Office; track spend and report on budget utilization.
• Prepare executive briefings and updates for senior stakeholders and steering committees on priorities, progress, risks and value realization.
