Job summary

Brillfy Technology Inc. seeks a Senior SharePoint Migration Lead to orchestrate an enterprise-scale move of ~30 TB of AWS FSx data into Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online across 23 departments. This onsite role in Houston requires leadership across technical and business stakeholders.

You will design migration strategy, schedule waves, govern sites, manage permissions, and ensure data retention policies are applied, with training sessions and risk management throughout the project.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
• 2+ enterprise-scale migrations to SharePoint Online/Teams.
• Strong governance, site architecture, and data classification.
• Experience with Windows file servers, AD/Entra ID.

Job description

**Location:** Houston, TX (Onsite – Hybrid flexibility possible)

**Duration:** 12+ Months

**Position:** Contract

We are looking for an experienced **Senior SharePoint Migration Lead** to lead an enterprise-scale migration of approximately 30 TB of AWS FSx file share data into Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online across 23 business departments.

Key Skills Required:

• - 8+ years of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 experience.
• - 2+ recent enterprise-scale file share to SharePoint Online / Teams migrations.
• - SharePoint Online, Teams, site architecture, libraries, and governance.
• - PowerShell scripting (PnP PowerShell, SharePoint Online Management Shell).
• - Embedded / hardcoded file link remediation in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• - Windows File Servers, NTFS permissions, ACLs, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
• - Microsoft Purview retention labels, policies, and data classification.
• - Migration planning, multi-wave execution, and post-migration validation.
• - Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, and end-user training.

Preferred:

• - Utilities / Energy or regulated industry experience.
• - Data archiving and records retention experience.
