Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Data Storage Engineer to support the NDOC in Bethesda, MD. You will design, install, and maintain enterprise storage across on‑premise and cloud environments for maximum availability and performance.

The role requires strong experience with Rubrik, Dell EMC, Python/PowerShell scripting, and Unix/Linux systems, plus excellent communication skills. Based in Bethesda with 24/7 support expectations.

Qualifications

• Extensive storage engineering experience with enterprise storage systems.
• Experience with lifecycle design, architecture, and deployment of storage solutions.
• Proven ability to mentor junior staff and work in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable enterprise storage architectures across on‑premise and cloud environments (multi-petabyte scale).
• Install, configure, and administer storage systems from vendors (Dell EMC, Quantum).
• Develop and maintain system documentation and disaster recovery plans.
