Equifax is seeking a Data Steward to shape the future of our Alternative Finance data products. You will drive excellence across data pipelines, standards, and governance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data for business growth.

You will contribute to early-stage data product development, improve data quality, and support strategic data initiatives. Located in USA-Atlanta, this full-time role offers growth, healthcare, and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of data analysis, product owner or consulting experience in data, preferably financial services data.
• Familiar with cloud and on-prem technologies, structured and unstructured data, streaming data.
• Experience with SQL and BI tools and desktop suites (Microsoft or Google).
• 2–5 years of data and business insights analysis driving data quality improvements.
• Governance, regulatory, security and compliance awareness is required.

Responsibilities

• Uphold data standards, discoverability and trustworthiness collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Drive business initiatives to maximize utility and application of data assets.
• Participate in early-stage development cycles for data product innovations.
• Maintain data pipeline knowledge and support core processes in the data product lifecycle.
• Lead data quality reporting and rapid response to alerts with business impact.
• Detect inconsistencies via threshold-based analysis and drive remediation.
• Collaborate with peers and leadership to share market and product knowledge.
• Develop detailed knowledge of data and technology supporting a product.
